FAQ

How tall are your storages?
Storage units vary from 8ft to 10 ft.

How does the lease work?
It is a rental agreement on a month-to-month basis, however if you need the unit for a few extra days into the month we will charge you only for those days.

How much vacate notice do you need?
We ask for at least 10 days notice to vacate.

Who has keys for my unit?
You put your own lock on the unit and you keep the keys.  Only people that you give the key to will have it.

How long can I store my things?
As long as your rent is paid on time and the rules are respected you can stay as long as you like.

Tell me about your security features?
Maple Ridge:
We have a security gate that is card activated, only one card is issued per unit, this gives us accountability. Our lot is secured and alarmed between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.  Many of our medium and larger units have the option of being alarmed individually for an extra charge.  Of course your best security is a good lock.

North Vancouver:
We have two security gates that are code activated, you will input your access code - followed by the star key - to enter the facility.  This will allow you to access only your unit.  If you open any other unit - locked or unlocked, an alarm will sound. Our lot is secured and alarmed between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.  Of course your best security is a good lock, therefore we offer two types of locks for sale.  You can purchase a regular padlock or deadbolt if you so desire.  The only people with keys to your locker will be those you give it to.

Do you offer insurance for my goods?
No, we don’t offer insurance.  Most home policies will also cover your storage belongings, but if they don’t we can suggest local companies that will be glad to help.

When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the first of the month.  You will be prorated from the day you move in to the last day of that month.  This makes it easier to remember.

Is there power in the unit?
No, this is a security/safety issue, and PLEASE  DO NOT use the light sockets to get around this.
